If you like ratios of the CHE, DFQ, DGD or AMC code 020 transmission with the way your ABA is setup the EHA or ENJ code 02Js are the ones to have You most likely will not want an 02J from a 2.0L 8v mk4 unless you want to kill your MPGs and have an 02J version of a 4K code 020

You cannot use a VR6 transmission due to the different bell housing. First of all you will need an 02J from a 4 cylinder mk4 with gear ratios of your choice depending on your goals. I will be updating the main post with pictures and part numbers on everything I can to make this a little more straight forward for anyone else doing an 02J swap into an ABA mk3 car or other 4 cylinder 020 transmission mk3s.
